Garden Farm, 2014
The Garden Farm project started with imagery from a variety of sources-- photographs of farms in New Jersey and New York, images found on-line, and scans from my paintings. In the video, a collage of images appears and disappears, referencing the succession of land. The digital prints are based on stills from the video. These were my first prints on homegrown and homemade cotton paper. I first started growing cotton in the summer of 2013 on our farm, Wildland Gardens.
